Photo and Video Usage Rights

By attending ViewerCon, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, voice, and statements in photographs, video recordings, and livestreams of the event. These materials may be used by PopViewers Inc. and our partners for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes across all media platforms, including social media, without additional compensation or further consent.

ViewerCon panels will be livestreamed. By attending, you consent to potential appearance in livestreamed content. If you wish to avoid being on camera during livestream segments, please sit in designated off-camera areas, which will be identified by staff upon arrival. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify a staff member upon arrival.

Please note that pursuant to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) venue policies, personal recording equipment, including professional cameras, GoPros, and selfie sticks, are strictly prohibited inside the theaters. Attendees must comply with all venue intellectual property and recording rules.

Code of Conduct & Venue Rules

ViewerCon is committed to providing a respectful and professional environment for all attendees, speakers, and staff. Attendees agree to conduct themselves professionally and refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or offensive behavior based on age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Prohibited conduct includes unwelcome sexual advances, disruptive behavior, intoxication, possession of illegal substances, or any violation of venue rules. All attendees are subject to security screening and bag searches by NJPAC staff. In accordance with NJPAC policy, backpacks, suitcases, and bags larger than 12" x 12" x 8" are strictly prohibited inside the theaters.

PopViewers Inc. and NJPAC management reserve the right to immediately remove or deny entry to any attendee engaging in prohibited conduct or violating venue policies without refund.

Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

For New Jersey residents and attendees, ViewerCon attendees participate in this event at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PopViewers Inc., New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), and event sponsors are not responsible for property damage, theft, or loss of personal items.

Except for damages resulting from gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, attendees agree to release PopViewers Inc., NJPAC, and their respective affiliates from any and all claims for personal injury arising from ordinary negligence associated with attendance. Attendees assume all risk associated with attendance and agree to comply with all venue rules and applicable laws.

If an attendee is a minor under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian purchasing the ticket or accompanying the minor acknowledges that they are responsible for the minor's conduct and safety, and agree to indemnify PopViewers Inc. and NJPAC for any claims arising out of the minor's presence at the venue.

Privacy

PopViewers Inc. collects registration information solely to facilitate your attendance at ViewerCon. We handle all personal data in compliance with applicable federal and state privacy laws, including applicable New Jersey consumer protection regulations, and do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as necessary to operate the event.
